Long exposure project
For quite some time I wanted to shoot bouldering sports during the night. Except at dusk, the environment often remains dark with a "normal" use of strobes. Lightpainting would be a solution, but it's very difficult in my opinion to have a controlled result without stacking different frames in photoshop in postproduction. I opted for a 4 minute exposure so that the environment is captured in natural moonlight and the movement is frozen by strobes.
The boulder is located at Sustenpass, Switzerland at 2000m above sea level in a beautiful alpine scenery.
